The Guanacaste hacienda depicts a lowlands lifestyle that despite its change through time still keeps its beautiful flair of a simple rural life devoted to agriculture and cattle raising.

The Guanacaste hacienda structure was based on the concept of a main building around which other aisles were built in a wide open patio. The closest aisle from the main building was the kitchen, which it was kept separated in order to prevent fir accidents.

There were also aisles devoted to host the hacienda workers as well as others to keep the agriculture and cattle operational instruments.

The farm yards are fundamental in the hacienda structure, they were made of piled stones. During the Summer season the farm yard used to gather the cattle in order to be marked.
